Purpose of role:

The role of Consumer Insights manager is to drive business growth via embedding consumer and market expertise in organization strategies and actions and making sure decisions are consumer-centric - in other words, inspire growth by connecting with consumers. CI manager in a cluster is a business partner for both central regional category team and cluster marketing teams. The role is responsible for developing market and consumer insights into business implications and recommendations.


  • Bring consolidated view consumer and market landscape in cluster via analysis of consumer and market dynamics, structure of the market and category consumption patterns (in-depth and in broader snacking context), understanding trends - macroeconomic, lifestyle, cultural, channel etc.
  • Identify growth opportunities for Chocolate brands in the cluster leveraging the "Laws of Growth" framework and deliver insights for bringing these opportunities to life by creating and executing learning plans respectively;
  • Communicate clear and compelling recommendations to the teams for growth actions, bringing together internal and external knowledge about consumer and category; synthesize learning to provide clarity regarding current and future growth drivers
  • Build insights that will guide business decisions in the following major areas - including but not limited to: Core brand growth (communications, packaging, portfolio, product, benchmarking vs. competition), Innovations (role of innovations, innovation platforms development and consumer validation), Product and Packaging quality, integrated consumer connections etc.
  • Manage research projects and supervise suppliers in order to deliver high quality results in a timely and cost-efficient manner (define research methodology and ensure alignment with business team on key objectives and deliverables, select and brief research suppliers, ensure projects run smoothly and in like with research protocols and guidelines, provide constructive feedback to research suppliers to help their capability development)
  • Manage respective analysis and research communications, making sure that agency reports and CI summaries and analytical decks are concise, clear, action oriented and covering required scope of questions
  • Manage required category tracking activity in line with MEU guidelines and contracts (Retail Audit, Household Panel, NPD and brand health tracking etc.)
  • Other functional duties as required


  • Min. Bachelor's degree (Social Science, Economics, Marketing preferred)
  • Min. 6 years of experience in an international company on a similar position
  • Experience of working with different countries and cultures and remote work.
  • Fluent Russian and English languages.
